After carefully researching memory foam mattress toppers, I finally purchased the four inch, four-pound density topper. It has exceeded my expectations! I followed the advice from previous reviews and ordered it a size larger than my bed. I trimmed just a couple of inches off the length with an electric knife and it fits perfectly. I also aired it out and the smell went away within 2 days. The mattress topper itself weighs way more than 4 pounds (my mail lady would not take the box off of her truck), which is a testimony to the plush thickness and resilience of the foam. I can honestly say I have never slept on a more comfortable bed since I have added the memory foam topper. It has also saved me money since I no longer need to replace my mattress. We put this 4 inch visco memory foam topper on top of our king size mattress and it is so comfortable. It makes the bed really high off the ground, but that is OK. The sheets still fit the mattress.
