I needed a down alternative comforter due to allergies. I researched tons of down alternative comforters before deciding on this one. I have a cal-king bed, so I was also looking at the size. This down alternative comforter is FANTASTIC. It actualy fits the bed perfetly. It is fluffy and light, yet keeps you toasty warm, plus it is super soft. Its like sleepy in a cloud. I highly recommend it.

I have always used a "down" comforter, but got very tired of the dry cleaning bills. I decided to try this one because it was an excellent price and I could wash it. I loved it so much, I bought another one. It is usually so cold at night that we use 2 down comforters. So far, one has been warm enough so I haven't added the second one yet. But I am really glad to have the extra one waiting for me.

Royal Velvet 300TC Down Alternative Comforter. This is the best down alternative comforter I have come across! It is warm but does not feel like it weighs a ton on top of me like so many I have tried. I have no idea how well it will clean as I have not had to do that yet but honestly it seems like there will be no probs and will hold up for a long time... Even my cats love it both laying on top of it and under it... I had recently purchased a light weight down alternative comforter from a store for the same price and within a few days it was horrible having clumps in spots, forget shaking it to distribute the filling evenly that does not help
