Standard Return Policy

SmartBargains.com will gladly accept most returns for merchandise in new, unused, and undamaged condition within 30 days from delivery date. The returned merchandise must be in its Original Condition*, original packaging and accompanied by proof of purchase and warranty; otherwise the return will not be honored. All returned products received opened and/or used are subject to a partial refund. If return is defective or error appears to be made by us, we will issue a full refund for the merchandise and shipping charges. Customers will be responsible for all return shipping charges, unless there was an error made by Smart Bargains.
Please note, any item(s) returned after 30 days from confirmed delivery are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Purchases become final sales after 60 days from confirmed delivery date and are no longer eligible for return or refund or you will be charged a restock fee depending on the condition.

You must obtain a Return For Inspection (RFI) number from SmartBargains.com before returning the merchandise. We will not accept any returned merchandise without an RFI number. To obtain an RFI number contact a customer loyalty specialist by calling 1-877-222-6660 or email customer service at customerloyalty@SmartBargains.com

Returns must be shipped via a prepaid traceable carrier, such as UPS or FedEx. In case of loss or damage, the customer is liable. (Insurance is highly recommended)

NOTE: Smartbargains.com accepts no responsibility, regardless of value, for any return untraceable or uninsured.

 

* Original Condition means that there are no scratches, marks or blemishes on the product and the security tags are still attached. The product must not have been sized, laundered or altered in any way.

* Customer refunds and/or adjustments will not be issued until we have received your item back and it has been inspected. Returns are process within 3-5 business days upon receipt of returned item.


Non-Returnable Products:


Fragrances, Cosmetics, Swimwear, Intimate Apparel, Hosiery,, Body Jewelry, Gift Cards, and all items listed as Final Sale (clearly indicated on the product pages before adding to cart) will not be accepted for return/refund. If you received the non-returnable product damaged, please contact us within 5 business days after delivery.

Gifts with Purchase: Free or discounted items shipped as promotional gifts with purchase must be returned along with the qualifying item in original condition as described in the Standard Return Policy. The retail value of the gifts with purchase not returned with the qualifying item will be deducted from the refund or credit amount.


Damages and Defective Products:

If you receive damaged or incorrect item(s), contact a Customer Service Specialist no later than 5 business days after delivery. You will receive a full refund and your return shipping will be waived. If the item is not defective when we receive return, shipping fees will apply and a partial refund may be issued. If there is extensive damage to the box, when you receive your order, refuse delivery and contact a Customer Service Specialist immediately.

 

Refusal of Delivery:

If a package is refused for delivery, the customer will be responsible for actual shipping charges incurred by SmartBargains.com. Customer will need to contact Customer Service regarding all refused shipments before we can issue a credit to the original credit card for the purchase price only, actual shipping cost will be deducted. This shipping charge will apply even if you were not originally charged shipping under a free shipping promotion. The purpose of this is to defray unnecessary shipping costs and to allow us to offer the lowest prices possible. This does not apply to packages that appear to be damaged in shipping.

 

International Refusals: International packages which are refused by the customer to us will result in forfeiture of all shipping charges as well as all other charges we may incur as duties and taxes etc., including but not limited to the full price of the refused item.


* Customers will need to contact Customer Service regarding all refused shipments for Smart Bargains to issue a credit.


Incorrect Shipping Address Provided:

Packages that are returned because of an incorrect address provided by the customer, will be subject to additional shipping charges. When we receive the package in our warehouse, we will issue a credit to the original credit card for the purchase price only, actual shipping cost will be deducted. This shipping charge will apply even if you were not originally charged shipping under a free shipping promotion. Requests for packages to be shipped again will be subject to additional shipping charges. The purpose of this is to defray unnecessary shipping costs and to allow us to offer the lowest prices possible.


Heavy/Bulky Items:


Smartbargains.com will accept Heavy/Bulky returns within our Standard Return Policy. Returns must be received within 30 days of delivery and received in new and unused condition. Customer will be responsible to pay original shipping fee and return shipping fee, if we receive for any of the following:

 

Customer refuses delivery without inspection

Missed delivery appointments

Return is non-defective or undamaged

 

SmartBargains.com reserves the right to only give partial refund if item is not in its new, original and unopened condition. All Heavy/Bulky returns are subject to a 30% restocking fee.

 

*Please make sure that all Heavy/Bulky items are inspected before accepting/signing for delivery.


Heavy/Bulky Item must meet one or more of the following specifications:

Weigh 75 lbs. or more when packaged

Measure 108 inches or more in length

Measure 165 inches or more in width

* If an item requires shipment on a wooden pallet, regardless of weight (typically in the 100-125 lb. range), it is considered a Heavy/Bulky Item.

Product Specific Policies

Mattresses:

All mattresses are custom-built for you when you submit your order, mattress orders cannot be canceled, returned, or refunded. Upon delivery, please inspect your new mattress before signing for delivery. You will only qualify for a full refund for damaged or defective mattresses if you refuse at the time of delivery.
